The Correct Ways
The thing that hurts is life
it feels like a knife
cuttin people out
and making me feel not right
I feel loose not tight
my swagger is gone like a broken chain on a bike
but still I put on a fake grin
hair growin on my chin because im agin
and steady turnin
each page of my life
wish i was like a kite
so i could see the world from a different angle
and be so high that i could just mangle
a big bowl of cereal....relentless
this is pourin out of my soul man you cant re-live this
I keep peeps laughin but I got pain inside
look close you can see it all in my eyes
thats why you should always look a man in his eyes
cause at that point you will...realize
that maybe he doesnt want to be bothered or want to talk
later on he maybe outlined in chalk
i try to put the alcohol down but he keeps callin my name
"Big Dave come hang out with me today. Ill make your night truly absurd. I could make
music sound better than its ever heard." hopefull i wont listen to his words cause its just bad
news
if not now then later.
Im misunderstood dissin the drank I look like a hater
but im just tryna do things the correct way
but nobody wants to see the correct ways of Big Dave
