The Continuous Ultimate Vacation 4 Me
is The Grand Canyon. Always Was, Always Will Be.
"A breathtaking sight," you've heard that expression before.
By definition, The Grand Canyon is a breathtaking sight for sure.
You never forget your first time with anything
and much like the day when one gives up being a virgin
my first sight of the Grand Canyon was most awe inspiring.
I got exhausted trying to take the entire canyon all in,
so I parked my sorry butt down on a comfortable rock,
it was the best seat in the house, this my most comfortable spot.
I took in the whole landscape that I could possibly see
and with a blink of my eyes, things changed right before my eyes ever so wondrously.
As the sun moved up in the sky, so too did The Grand Canyon come alive,
This immense, super massive, natural, most beautiful world wonder
right before my eyes would appear and reappear in the most miraculous of colors.
I felt my heart pounding. I was hyperventilating.
I was truly experiencing a "breathtaking sight".
as I sat on that rock trying to catch my breath
until the sun turned The Grand Canyon to night.
I've ventured deep into the canyon too and let me tell you
you've never experienced such serene tranquility.
Deep in the canyon in the darkest of night the landscape you can not see.
but all of the stars up in the sky all seem to all move before your eyes
as you star gaze hypnotically
and then the moving stars disappear into the canyons dark walls ever so endlessly.
Whenever I visit the Grand Canyon it's as if I've fed my soul food.
The Continuous Ultimate Vacation 4 Me most definitely
is The Grand Canyon. The Ultimate Vacation Of True Solitude.
