The Constellation Oath

Endlessly traveling across the night sky,
I crash like a comet, leaving no trace
Framed by the sweep of Northern Lights

When the light within my retina fades,
And my spirit flickers out,
And your efforts
to rekindle it
With stardust in your hands.

Recalled from time’s orbit
Into a pale shadow that craves radiance.

I turn to the past while gazing at the moon,
With the entire galaxy above my head.

I whisper...
My oath again—
Even if my body and mind desert me,
My constellation remains untouched.
