The Concert

The piano preening proudly center-stage
Her keys dazzling diamonds
While patrons crane stiff collars
To steal an unfettered look.
The lights dim, pin-drop silence
As the soloist, majestic, breathes deep
  ~ An elegant flick of his wrist
