The Complications of Faith

What is Faith?
Is it an immovable position,
Or a streak of chance?

It's certainly not a logical deduction
Or a thesis based of evidence

No dictionary can properly describe it
Nor can our minds

It can be like a storm,
Growing, then gone
Or like tidal waves
Calm, aggravated, then calm once more

Faith is ever changing
Present and not
It doesn't obey the laws of reality,
But somehow, it's still here

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed with your faith in God.
