The Complexion of Beauty

“The Complexion of Beauty”

by: Eric L. Boddie

Whether you’re light, bright or dark

Many hold it at extreme amounts

But the truth of the matter is

The heart is the only color that counts

And yours is truly beautiful

And your accessories are Divine

Because from the ground up

You are nothing less than fine

Because your body is an extension

Of the beauty within your soul

Which shines so brightly

Since your heart is made of gold

As pure as the water

In an untarnished stream

Both nurturing and refreshing

Satisfaction seldom felt outside of dreams

True to yourself

There is no other way you could be

God colored you in beauty

For all hearts to see
