Thank you so much for commenting on my writing. This Free Verse form poem here is a wonderful study in imagery ... I can almost hear the winter winds ... great job!! One of the joys of the Soup is learning about the different forms. I hope you don't mind this long comment (see below) but I'd hate to have folks miss your writing because they all say "I Don't Know" ... smile ... Anyway, Welcome to PoetrySoup!!

Glad I read Carolyn's comments ... now I know why your name seemed so familar ... smile ... wonderful writing here, David. Under "Resources" on the left column at the Home page are all the types of poetry. This one is Free Verse. After you post a poem you can select the "Form" by scrolling up or down from "I Don't Know". Your poems will be more apt to be included in contests if they show a form. This one is Free Verse or Free Form.
