The Come Back

Waking to the soft light of a summers dawn
Writhing free from your comforter cocoon
Escaped a light and gentle yawn
Feeling strange, like a childish baboon

Jumping out of bed, to spread the curtains wide
Ready for what's ahead, I'm ready for this tide
No longer filled with lead, It's time to move full stride.
Breaking through all things said, no time to run and hide.

Carefree or free of care,
This life is yours if you dare.
This feeling I have, I once thought rare
But here I am, so happy and fair

The weight is lifting
The Nightmares are fading
I've finally found my track
Here it comes, the come back.
