The Colours of the Night
A sunset.....
Gold and red
Washed its' colours over you,
as we lie upon our bed
As thoughts spill.........
Like the colour
Bronze and gold
It is you I fill........
It is you I hold
Deepening red........
Upon our bed
Evening sky.......
Brings you to me,
for here we lie
You and I
Colours to spill
Colours to fill
Colours gold and red
Fading away
instead....
Our night of play........
At the end of the day
As you lie upon our bed........
The sky.........
Soft pink and blue
Here I lie with you.........
Thoughts read
Your love ....
Washed its' colours over me
Your sunset............
Soft and pink........
Given free..........
As I give to you........
The deepening colour hue
Deepening purple and blue
Covered me...........
Covered you............
The covered night sky
Deepening delight............
For you and I
The night sky..........
Covered you and I
The colours of the heart.....
the colours of the night.....
Made you sigh.....
