The Colours of My Heart

The colours of a sunset
Ran through my heart
Orange, gold and red
 
Shades of indigo
Became a midnight blue
The glorious night
The moon glow
 
Moonbeams
Shaped white clouds,
in to silver streams
 
The colours of the night
Ran through my heart
Silver and midnight blue
 
A blush in the east
As stars fade
Different colours returned
The shades of the heart
These things I learned
