The Colors of the Rainbow

What are the colors of the distant rainbow?
Their color appears so slow…
Their light shades and hues of emotion…

Red as the hate that fills your soul
Orange as the sun that glows
Yellow as the carnation that is forever bloomed
Green as the grass that grows
Blue as the heavy tears that flow
Purple as the passion that you consume

A rainbows beauty is all you assume
The colors to you no more than a rune
But really are so much more…
