The Colors of Love
Always a gentle rose in the cubicles of my mind,
Each velvety petal unfolding, one day at a time,
The radiant beauty of a blushing new bride;
A whimsical disposition of a late evening tide.
Capturing endearing moments when love's put to the test,
Ovations of colors - which is the best?
A pastel calmness, of lavender blue,
Red roses for my love - a love so true?
Color us serene in yesterday's verdant meadows,
Color us content, under newly prismed rainbows.
Color us happy under azure blue skies,
Color us fulfilled, standing under, a golden sunrise.
Perchance the best color is white, for our Lord's Pure Love,
Shining on us eternally, from the Heaven's above.
