The Color of Love

Wind through my tangled hair, warm sunshine on my face,
When I’m with you it feels like this place
Where I can live and love and laugh, I stay
Feel a cold tickle, the raindrops,
They’re not grey at all
Cloud of opportunities arise, the lines are all silver
I stand,
I smile,
I shiver.
Happiness feels like this
When I’m in the wilderness
Like I’m drawing rainbows, holding crayons
Erasing the fear of loneliness,
Shading every colour I know of
Creating the perfect portrait, an artist’s masterpiece
The colour of love.
