The Cold Air

you breathe in the cold air
letting it send chills all over your arms
and don't bother fighting the cold
that wraps itself into your skin
robbing you of the warmth of once merrier days
and you want to go back
and fix that one thing that went wrong
you want that warm warm chest digging into your face
with hands rubbing on your arms
and arms pulling you closer
closer to lips that want to steal your breaths
and take all your pain away.
