The Coffin I Am In
THE COFFIN I’M IN
I just want to die here.
I just want to lie here
Until I die here.
I cried I died when I
Learned I lay here,
Lied Here with
Someone I once
Offered such trust,
Believing his words
Uttered and shuttered,
But causing no hurts.
Meanwhile, both of us
Lied HERE adjacently,
While HE lied and lied
The entire time to ME?
About Absolutely Everything
?That truly mattered to me!
So this is “The Why,” Dears,
I’m lying here,
Dissolved in salty tears,
For almost a year,
While only anticipating
And only awaiting
The day that I die here.
