The Cloudy Path

He traces the path of the eagle
A second eagle joins the first
The two eagles dance in the sky
Then the suddenly swoop down

Unto a nest atop a tall gravellia tree
They snatch the young ones from the nest
The mother and father finch gives chase
Biting the eagles from above and below

He is reminded of the first world war
He went to Burma in the great war
And his grandson went to berlin
He was searching for German sheperds

Feared he was and Weru they called him
They named the great captain Makiada
He brought untold terror to Kings rifles
The war is over we retell the stories

He fought in Burma trying times they had
Back home they by oath bound themselves
To liberate thier land, Weru was your name
They named you the great captain Makiada
