The Cloud

The cloud
Sneaks
With certainty
Its return
Unanounced
But never
Unexpected
Enveloping
The mind
With it
The danger
Of a deep deep
Sadness
Its haze
Drowning
Belief
Securing
Slowly
Surely
Killing
All it holds

The cloud
Retreating
Kind words
Warmth of another
Closeness
Love
Belonging
Talking
Purpose
Love
Remembering
Forgetting
Love

The cloud
Found
In so many
Minds
Not always
Present
But always
There
Their
They're
Here.
