The Closing of Eternity

Gazing out, through dark night sky, at a distant star, with naked eye or telescope, can only see so far, what lay beyond where the eye can see? Perhaps, can better the mind, receive more clearly? Far off places connecting with me, across the oceans of space and times great sea, almost feels like some form of Divinity, such is the energy coursing through me! I am not alone, for the whole planet feels it too, wow, here's an experience that's new, I can feel what it's like to be you, and vice-versa, you can feel it too! A whole new aspect to lifes wonderful game, the old greeds and prejudices now look so lame, but, this has all come too late, now isn't that a shame! Cos we are reeling from a blow, delivered by the heavy hand of fate, tolling our time to go. Because atoms start collapsing, whilst dimensions begin sliding, the stars go out, it looks as though they are hiding. I see the last remnants of lifes activity, as cometesque spaceships rush past me, all hopeless refugees, attempting to flee the closing of eternity! As the moon goes purple, and the sky turns red, reflection on the water, looks like the earth has bled, the Lights now gone, and the Sun is dead!!! ©John-Ovan.P.Hull
