The City Lights are just a Glamour, Nothing is real here
The City Lights are a Glamour
Nothing is real here
I thought it was the bright lights that made me this way
These little moments I can get caught up in the wonder of this world
I'm dancing under streetlights
A performer in my own parade
Feeling some fascination for the starless city sky
The way it's lack of romance is somehow beautiful still
Cold as concrete but filled with the collective sighs of thousands of souls
In the city the loneliness isn't empty
Our eyes will meet as we pass each other on the sidewalk
Alone together
