The Circle Has Begun

Far beyond the pine trees
In a place that only holds dreams
Dreams of a time from long ago
And to a place I miss so
    Nestled in a mountain side
Our people were forced to hide
High above the land we knew
We learned to forget the life below and to start a new
Hidden from all we were safe and protected
We waited for the day when the circle again would be
        connected
And now the day has come you see
All who were from that time are here in this century
We are drawn together by a memory
That haunts our dreams and sets the past free
The path we've chosen has taken us here
Our chance meetings are now all too clear
And now the circle has begun
For soon all of us will once again be one
