It had snowed all of Christmas day-
Most of my beloved are gone now,
so in the park I stroll and stray;
where snow has fallen on each bough.
The park is empty except for me,
and under trees in prayer, I rest.
This bench could easily fit three.
Yes, I feel sadness in my chest.
Yet, the beauty of falling snow,
and the winter scene that I behold;
gives me a smile and a warm glow,
that I sit not feeling the cold.
God created for me, this scene.
He filled my heart with inner calm,
and cold air crisp, fresh and clean.
I thank him with hands palm to palm-
