The Chosen

How long, would you hide Aren't you tired of the roller coaster ride Put aside your pride and return to ' YAH ' side Don't be sadden, don't be afraid Stop digging your brother's grave Be strong, turn from wrong Just listen, live and obey Four hundred years of sin and backslide Chained, caned, blamed and shamed 'YAH' knows we were frame But we were told to love and refrain 'YAH', said in the end we will gain Our existence was not in vain So do not hide nor collide Stand firm put up a fight Learn to be brave and unite Four hundred years of secret and lies Buried and conceal to keep us in the dark Open your eyes, be brave Stop digging your own grave Research, search and learn to go to church Four hundred years of concealing the truth And killing our youths will soon end Lets not pretend That you had nothing to do with planning our end I don't mean to offend But you know you were never our friend After all you where the ones who staged our end.
