The Children Have Friday Off

Yes, I do teach. 
Our children have the day off school THIS Friday?
What? Why? What school calendar? Who reads it?
I am always the last to know.

This is Monday.
GRRRRRRR.
I know. It is five days’ notice.
But if the children are not here
It is NO FUN.

The universe is usually my oyster.
Not this week.
A full day of meetings.
UGH!
Phooey.

At least I have four days to play.

It ended up being frustrating. I brought a computer, monitor, and all the peripherals. My husband drove over here - 35 minutes to "try". It worked yesterday, not today. He took the CPU home to fix.
