The Character In Your Story

In hopes you are inspired to finish the last chapter in your book,
Based upon your own life, the character that you took,
And I was in that story but my name was replaced,
In the beginning you searched high and low, you decided to use the name Grace,
But after a while you noticed that Grace just wouldn't do,
The name didn't fit my character, and you had to change it to something new,
There was not one name that fit me, to pin point my character traits,
Until one day you realized you should just call me by my own name,
Each individual has a story unlike all the others,
And the moral of the story is you can't replace another.
