Notes About The Poem

This dedicated to the New Year and a New President.

The Change of Seasons

The Winter - when the weather turns cold and the leaves begin falling, it is the time for a new birth - shedding all old habits and the dying of old things. In the Spring will come a new rebirth of joy and pleasure. Birds will sing and the leaves will be green again. But in the winter it is time for planting seeds of goodness, so that the harvest of the spring will be bright and cheery. There are wonderful things to see during winter - the snow and the icescaters, The Christmas Holiday and all its beautiful decorations. And, yes the New Year, full of hope and promise for the future. Let us take this time to reflect and remember that a gift of another year has come, and is now passing. As we look forward to new glories and grace. It is time to reflect and remember what God has given us in our lives. A time to appreciate the Blessings along with the sorrows. Not thinking so much on the sorrows, but on the new blessings that are coming. Thank you for the seasons of change. A chance to grow and love.
