The Change

THE CHANGE One thing I have noticed since my life Christ has changed Is how He steps in when life seems deranged. When my spirit is down and discouragement sets in, When I am engulfed by my past and my sin, He turns on a bright light that points me to the cross Where one day I came all undone and lost. He points me to the victory that my soul ever saves: The bright, empty tomb, for He rose from the grave! He strengthens my faith through trials, that’s true, But each time I’m o’erwhelmed His mercy comes through. And a hope I now have that again I’ll be changed In the home up above where I’ll not be estranged!
