The Challenge Poem Number 1

                                 My husband has presented 

                                   A challenge just for me

                                 Forty poems within three days

                                          Impossibility

                                  But I guess I will try to 

                                          Do my best

                                      At 10:30 at night

                                  And I'll try to pen others

                                  I won't post on the site

                                                  :)

Oh yes, it was a long dryspell of writing, but we did get a lot of renovation work done, and between moving from within our home which is a rather big house, with lots of heavy furniture, six very tall bookcases loaded with books (who would guess I would own so many books??) Sectionals, bedroom sets, oh my gosh, about killed us!! Besides having family including four children have to move in and live with us when their own home also suffered a ruptured pipe (and flooded) help them move out of their big two-story home, a much bigger home than our own, I am surprised I wrote ten poems last year at all :) But this was a fun end of year challenge! My husband knew I felt terrible about my writing year and attempted to rectify it for me. I am coming back to reply to comments, so happy I met the challenge!

He is a prize :) I don't know the plan, but I suspect a date night. How wonderful that you are working on a Christmas Suite of poems. I will come over and see :)

Our son said, wow, that is hard and without inspiration?! Well, we will see if I can meet the challenge. I am sick today with a fever and so the inspiration may be how I feel right now. He dropped the challenge on me at 10:30 on here, and suggested it earlier just to me around 8:00. Posted the challenge around 10:30 on site on one of my poems :) Well, I still feel the Muse is missing, but well, he has me writing :)

My hubby is trying to break this dry 'spell'. We will see. It is rather a fun challenge and as bad as they are, I did write ten in an hour and a half/.
