The Chair

There it sits in it's own little space

Not bothering anyone but it seems out of place

It was there yesterday dust all around

In the same spot there on the ground

People pass by it or stop and stare

Wondering why there isn't a pair

Day after day it sits the same way

Waiting for someone to take it away
