The Cause
You said we would make it out the poverty together
You didn't say you wanted an easy life
You said you wouldnt kiss anybody else
You said you would accept me for me
You said you'd always wait too see the Los Angeles seas
I wanted you too stare at the stars not
Live infatuated by money
Life looked like a beehive with no honey
The living felt more like the undead
You said you would be there for me
It was all lies instead
Your love became abuse
I havent slept in days
What was the cause of this
There was no love I see now
I fell again for the same
I wont answer any phone call
Best believe I'll throw it out the buses window
You need me now when you have nobody
I am stressed and never begged
You took my heart and replaced it with
Payphone cords life never seemed so boring
I opened my palms that form a light
Doves fly when I release the pressure
Red lightening thunders between black and red clouds
