The Castle Built On Sand

I built a castle
upon another's foundation

Kissing,
Missing
the final note of each song

Looking for where I belonged
searching,
soul quenching
the hands upon my breath

of life that has loved,
loved 'til the death
each subtle breath

Breathing your tragedy
within your words
in my heart

Love....
'tis love undying
as I exhale
This castle washed upon the sand......
