The Capture and Rescue

All my life
I have waited
I have longed for salvation
I have dreamt of the day when…
My world receives its savior
And after years of searching,
You found me
Hidden deep in the onyx horizon
Transparent with the sun’s glow
Where freedom was never known
Isolated from all things sentimental
There you found me,
And there, to my surprise, you captured me
With no resistance,
Taking me into your possession
Ignorant to the fact that…
Your capture, was my liberty
A rescue
And little did you know that,
You have broken the chains of involuntary celibacy
Saving me from a lifetime of solitude and despair
You’ve become my safe haven,
You are my sanctuary,
Bestowing upon me purpose,
Providing me with hope,
Granting me grace,
For you have captured my heart
And rescued my love
