The Candles

Some were very small, yet others were slender,
long and tall.
Some were yellow, some were green,
but every color could be seen.
All had imperfections, some slight flaw.
Some had a small glow, others none at all.
Each by the Candle maker given a name;
The candles were different,
But the wax was the same.

The last two lines give the reader something to ponder--the strongest part of the poem which is a good way to end. I like the message in your poem. Thank you for sharing it and for your kind comment. Karen
