The Candle and The Moth

Moth: I am frightened by the dark,
Death stares at me when I cannot spread my wings.
Candle: Why do you fear, my dear moth?
Look at my love, I burn myself just for a glimpse of you.
Moth: I spread my wings and take to flight,
I leave my home and hearth behind to soar.
Candle: I burn; to burn is my very purpose,
But these humans, why do they "burn" with envy for others? Do find out.
Moth: Do not send me to them,
For they have lost both conscience and compassion.
Candle: Alas, this light, this beauty of mine!
One day, this fair of life will surely come to an end.
Moth: You speak the truth, lovely candle,
Life is in a constant friendship with death.
It is quite possible that I, too, shall perish,
Making my home within the fire of love.
Candle: No! You must live forever,
Keep your distance from my flame.
Moth: If not love, then let it be death;
It is better than dying a little every day.
The sun is just about to rise,
The day is coming, and I am to lose you again.
Candle: I am beginning to die, so that you may live;
One of us must perish, this is the ultimate test.

Conclusion:
Upon hearing this, the moth embraced his death,
The candle flickered out, leaving behind nothing but a shadow
