The Calm After the Storm
A storm not only refers to weather,
but that of a spirit in a tether.
Anger fills and your unsure,
how to help this spirit safe and secure.
You listen as the storm passes by,
think of their life, ask God why.
Finally you figure it out,
what happened, why that spirit shouts.
You simplify a problem, it is born,
the time of calm after the storm.
I speak not only of the weather,
but of spirits that no longer tether.
