The Call of Duty

The Call To Duty

Brave men and women across the sea

Fighting for freedom for you and me

If you don’t fight in another hemisphere

The enemy will bring the battle over here.

Through IADs and sniper fire

You still hold that bold desire

To serve and protect

For the president elect

And your country men,

Fighting battles we don’t always win.

In blazen sand and cold desert nights

The thoughts are still running through

your head of yesterday’s fight.

You protect your country and fellow solders

You give all

Even if you fall

You have still gone beyond your call.
