The Calendar

the calendar is always wrong
according to my heart
for summer is as cold as ice
when we must be apart
the clock can say the time is noon
to me it’s midnight black
my empty arms will ache and yearn
until my lovers back
to me the day is beautiful with
his kiss is on my lips
