The Buzzbomb An American Sonnet

Given the incredible gift of wings, always saw a different perspective; Soaring high sailing into a nose dive, you could say her energy’s a buzz bomb; They never thought that she was possible, women weren’t built for beautiful feathers; Pristine in all her imperfect glory, this added embellishment overwhelmed; Grinding out eyes to erase a vision, looking at the sky it’s hard to believe; Still there she was smiling full of fervor, the frenzy in her eyes so contagious; Fanning idealists in spite of herself, this creature worthy of so free a flight.

Dear Melani, This is a powerful and evocative piece! I'm particularly struck by the imagery you use to portray this woman's unique spirit. The "incredible gift of wings" and "nose dive" set the stage for a dynamic character, full of energy and unafraid to challenge expectations. It speaks to the complex beauty of individuality and how those who defy norms can be both admired and ostracized. She embodies the power of simply being authentic and true to oneself, inspiring others to reach for their own dreams. This sonnet is not just about a woman with wings, but about the courage to break free from limitations and soar despite opposition. Very thought-provoking and inspiring piece, Melani. Blessings, Daniel

Perhaps my burning desire to fly is somehow the spirit you speak of. Thank you so very much. Blessings.
