The Butterfly

There was once a
Butterfly,
Trapped in a jar of
Caterpillars.

The beautiful creature
Watched,
And felt so horribly
Different.

She longed to be flying
Free,
But the jar was tightly
Locked.

The caterpillars were very
Cruel,
And they all called her
Ugly.

The wing dust brushed
Away,
And the butterfly began to
Wilt.
