Somehow, 'on this I float,' reminds me of the line, 'of Thee I sing,' in the song, "My Country 'tis of Thee." ---Go figure … And the first three lines are reminiscent of a short Emily Dickinson (of all people!) poem involving the sea. Unfortunately I can't remember it and, having just searched, couldn't summon it up on the Internet. I'll have to look in an actual book … Anyway, Cheers!! This one's a humdinger, Maureen! ~ Gershon

I don't think there's much originality of though in this piece, just my way of putting it together. For me, it blooms from a favorite line in a favorite song, "if I could cry me a river of all my confessions would I drown in my shallow regret", Black, by Sarah Mclachan. xomo <3

Multidimensional, caused by a deep thinker. The extra oxygen maybe.
