The Broken Friendship

I met her like a comet While creating a sonnet, Like a wish came true While having a cup of brew. Though she wasn’t so hot But questioned me a lot, In height she was short With her doubts she made my head hot! Still I loved her presence Like a vanilla essence, I could grab her senses Even in her absence. It wasn’t love We were just close friends, The way we treated each other Felt like we were girlfriend-boyfriend. But time went so fast Today she is just a past, I won’t let her memories go telecast Since it was a broken friendship to last!
