The Broken

She left his heart broken
now he's drowning in his sorrowed pain.
Weeping like the willows
tears forever leave his pillow stained.
No one could treat her better but the weather makes her feelings change.
She never really loved him and she never planned to share his name.
The more he fell in love the more she played him like a game.
I told her I was done There was nothing else for me to say
She wounded me too deeply I discretely bow and walk away
If She Could read my mind She would Find I'm In endless Pain
Try and Gain My Senses But I'm Senseless Just To Feel The Rain
Tears On My Pillow Forever will They Leave A Stain. I've Severed Our Connection it’s a Blessing Jus to Break the chain.
You Wanna Keep Me Here Just to tear My Heart apart Again.
But I refuse To Let You As I Wrestle With the Hurt I gained.
Got Me Feeling Helpless Only hoping To Regain My Strength.
I Only Find Peace In The Fact I Shall Release Restraints.
Whispers Turn To Weeps Never Sleep And I'm Peeping Game.
My Dreams R Optimistic With Consistence Just To keep me sane.

i wish i new what to say but i don't wish i knew how to explain how i feel but i cant even after the perfect night i still feel this dark hole in my chest i feel like im gettin better ... but honestly ...i dont think ill ever b the same

You are a poet, I am moved emotionally by your writing. A belated welcome to the soup. I wrote a piece called "Broken People" you might enjoy it. Type the title into the search box at the top of the page. That's the easiest way to find it.

Hi Micah, I would like to extend my hand in welcome to the PoetrySoup community. There’s a lot to learn from each other here and hopefully you will have a great time while at it. I love the emotions brought out in your poem - it is clear to see the angst brought by saying goodbye. Hurt has a way of changing our perspectives. Very well written! Feel free to drop me a line when you can. I am looking forward to reading more from you. Vicky.
