The Bridge Makers

In chalk-dust classrooms, minds alight, She sows the seeds of endless flight, A teacher's touch, a gentle hand, Empowering futures, taking a stand. He walks the streets where shadows fall, A voice for voiceless, standing tall, For every right, for every child, A champion's heart, burning wild. Two paths they tread, yet interwoven, Threads of love and purpose sewn, Their passion echoes, clear and strong, An anthem sung where rights belong. He writes on walls, in protest bold, A story etched, of truths untold, Of broken systems, dreams deferred, A cry for justice, softly heard. She shapes young minds, a potter's art, Moulding futures, tearing apart The chains of ignorance, one thought at a time, Building bridges, brick by rhyme. In whispered words, in shared embrace, They find solace in this sacred space, Where love fuels fire, never to wane, Together forging change's rain. One plants the seeds, the other tends, A garden blooms where hope ascends, For every child, a sunlit sky, A testament to love that won't die. So let their light in tandem burn, Education's fire, a love that yearns, To write a future, brave and free, A legacy born, for you and me.
