The Bridge Between Us
I am nearer to you than I was this time last year,
you do not become more distant
time I will never fear
the bridge between us is getting smaller all the time x
wont be long, wont be long now
time ticks slowly by, I listen to its earthly chime
and while i know that time is precious and life its only treasure
it brings me comfort to know
that time is merely a measure
many more years may tick slowly by
more happy memories
more reasons to try
I will watch the beauty of every season
you are forever my hope
you are my reason
as I know that one day we will meet once more
the bridge between us gone
we meet at heavens door
for now my angel I watch you fly
I know your looking over me
it will never be goodbye
