The Bride To Her Future Groom
You are the brightest star in my galaxy ,
Your beam melts the strongest heart ,
Your smile captivates my entire being
and makes me feel ordinary and speechless ,
The burning fire in your eyes sets my heart ablaze .
My stallion! , my king! ,let me be your queen ,
Allow me to stay my your side in summer and winter ,
To comfort and pamper you in sickness and in penury ,
To be your pink diamond among your jewels ,
To raise great children that shine like the morning sun ,
And conquer the world with good traits and achievement ,
Lets join hands at the altar to serve as models
for this failing and deluded generation .
I pledge to you to be faithful and honest all through,
To be your shadow in thick darkness ;aqua to quench
Your thirst and soothe your nerve ;
Allow me to hold you close to my bosom and
cuddle you like a sucking baby at night ,
without you –I’m like a dove without wings,
a flower without fragrance, a bee without honey .
