Two Triolets enclosed by three Haiku.

the aura of day appears on the horizon a new morning breaks As sun peeks through my window pane and song birds sing their morning hymn that echo of the day’s refrain as sun peeks through my window pane. With hues of amber pink attain today the sky is dressed so prim; as sun peeks through my window pane, and song birds sing their morning hymn. the bright sun rises and shows his face to the world the day comes to life As sun appears above the bay, I walk along the sandy shore, and watch the gulls soar o’er the cay as sun appears above the bay. The beach, when kissed by waves, display an essence of the world’s rapport. As sun appears above the bay, I walk along the sandy shore. nature is alive with the sun high in the sky and the whole world sings

Wonderful writing John, reminds me of Morning has broken Cat Stevens, this has a similar feel, a reverence for the hope of a new day, and the joy of living with gratitude!

What would life be if we didn't walk around with a song in our heart.

Your poem is so gloriously rejoiceful, John. I love the rhythm in this graceful form you employed.. both your triolets and haiku are exquisite. Beautiful use of rhymes and imagery, my friend. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

This is the first joyful write I have seen today, so thank you, John. You made excellent use of all three forms to describe the colors of dawn and the way nature celebrates the new day. It's the insomniac mockingbird that wakes me at 3 a.m., but the gulls seem to revel in each day's birth. Love your poem, John. A fave for me. Hugs, carolyn

Thank you so much, Carolyn, I'm so glad you enjoyed my poem. The mockingbirds sing a pretty song but it CAN be annoying at 3 am when they are looking for a mate, but come to think of it, I've know humans who do the same thing. John P.S. Thanks for the fav too!
