The Bracelet

She felt lazy; or perhaps just tired as the rain fell, beating softy on the window pane the low lamp gave off a soft but sombre glow and reflected a quiet glint of history off the delicate trinket bracelet that harboured her soft ageing wrist memories were stirred and as she gently pulled the blanket closer about herself she reflected on that time that place, that she could barely remember but she understood that the passion and the static that she had felt then was still there somewhere and as she leaned to turn off the lamp she smiled as she heard his safe sleeping presence.
