The Boy They Called X
Amazing platinum hair, and flashy smile with
Bright blue eyes that sparkled and his
Completion was
Dusky perfection.
Even his personality was
Favored by the other
Girls, they loved
His joking voice and serious eyes.
I wish I knew why he
Joked even though he was clearly troubled.
Knowing would help me understand my
Love for him.
My infatuation with him is anything but
Normal, and I know that if
Others, namely The Royal
People found out, I’d be in trouble.
Questions of him fill my mind, just
Riddles and things I will never know and
Sometimes I’m tempted
To speak to him and try to
Understand him.
Virdraq is his name
Which baffles me even today because
X was what they called him and
You’ll think that I’m crazy for wondering if
Zerran is actually his middle name.
