The Boy Has No Soul

The boy shuddered
in the cold,
Living a life
he did not know.

Taking the pain
he did not deserve,
Slowly dying
after a moment's glow.

With tired, lifeless eyes
he faced the world.
He searched and searched
but could see no hope.

Until an earthquake
crushed his soul,
And his dead body
was pushed ashore.
