The night grows silent after you have gone I sigh, knowing it was you I could count on Moon glows quietly, pouring out her light While the stars glisten across the dusky night The night reminds me that I’m utterly alone Oh my, how our time together has flown? When will I see you again… in the eternal Where we’ll elude the unending nocturnal The night sings of the sun’s soft beckoning From morning’s heart – tis’ the day of reckoning When the yesterday trembles with disbelief Because this day is such an auspicious relief The night grows weary with its revelations Tender admissions of the heart’s foundations Quivering hues of wonders and veracities Abiding in the soul with adoring capacities The night gentles those who know its beauty Love this alive is more than the heart’s duty This is the blessing that never stops giving Because we know God, we are really living The night is like an honest look at His grace And the moments excite like hope’s embrace Wherever you go, remember He is there And, whatever you do, know that He’s aware Let go of the pain, the struggles and strife Take hold of His hand and find eternal life Know the love that comes to hearts who agree God gave His Son to set the prisoner free… The night surely knows that the prisoner was me And while I don’t have the words, I finally see Beyond the darkness of the past, there is a hope Hope that heals and reassures that I can truly cope Wherever I go, I know the love that leads my soul And as long as I look to Jesus, my heart will be whole So that I can see beyond the prayers and praise To the love that colors me in this grace that will amaze Wherever I go, God walks with me and guides me I’m sure that He’s stronger than the strongest tree And when I look to Him, there I’ll find the assurance He is the power that offers my heart its insurance The night whispers to me about all that I’ve left behind But I know the One who is so beautiful and kind He tells me that this love is always going to be mine With Him, I have eternal life and that is the bottom line!

Dear Gina, your words always feel like a hymn wrapped in poetry, full of reverence and unshakable faith. You’ve painted the night as a sanctuary of hope and grace—thank you for sharing His light so beautifully. It fills my mind with great things that He has brought. Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

What a wonderful poem around the themes of longing, hope, redemption, and divine love. It reflects on the emotional struggles of loneliness and the assurance of God’s presence, highlighting the transformative power of faith and love in overcoming past pains.
