Streets are decked out in Christmas lights That diminish the darkness with their twinkling glow Trees are turned into artistic masterpieces Covered in tinsel, lights and ornaments With a shiny star on top. Yet it’s also the season Where people come together Who haven’t seen one another To those uniting after discovering The bond that they share. Togetherness is one of the best Traditions to come out of Christmas No matter what part of the world you live in Family, Friends, Acquaintances, even Frenemies They are all connected and brought together For one special season a year. A season of strengthening and connecting A time of forgiveness and amends A holiday where truces’ are made A season of creating new memories A magical time where hearts can change. Christmas is magical in mysterious ways It brings people together It helps people when they least expect it They help those who feel disconnected To reconnect through its magic. Christmas is about the bonding of hearts Strengthening the connection Between loved ones For the greatest gift Is the bonds that we’ve made With those around us The bonds that connect one’s hearts Is a precious and incredible gift That can’t be bought in a store Nor can it be taken away either.
